Green Up: Make Green Your Routine!
A Non-Traditional Ad Campaign for Papemelroti

***Undergraduate Thesis by Felicia Rosabal
A gift or a present is usually defined as a transfer of something without the expectation of receiving something in return. Although gift-giving might involve an expectation of exchange, a gift is meant to be free. In many human cultures, the act of mutually exchanging money, goods, etc. may contribute to social unity. In addition a gift can refer to anything that makes the other happier or less sad, especially as a favor, including forgiveness and kindness. Because of the generally warm nature of Filipinos, in the Philippines the tradition of gift giving is as varied and diverse as the number of islands it has.

In summary, there is no "wrong occasion" to giving out gifts. From family events to formal functions - personal or business, a small token or a gift delivery is always appreciated. At the end of the day, the phrase “it’s the thought that counts” still holds true. No matter what kind of gift you give, the most important etiquette to follow is that your token has sincerity written all over it.

Papemelroti is a chain of gift shops that has touched countless lives through its unique product lines and also a pioneer in environment friendly products.
